Yeah, just like me, oznell! And a hahaha to that. But such a beautiful look, isn't it? I kind of drool looking at it. But I had a room like that once. Now I'm strictly cottage. But I look at it and kind of miss it.

Nope, don't care for the heavy drapes..dust collectors.something sheer would have been more to my liking.  Also the room lacks some color, too bland.  thanks for the post.

I love those.  I like to see drapes so full and "puddly" like that.  Love the chandelier, too.

Lovely to look at but not to keep clean, dust free.  Love plantation shutters for that reason and sheers with silhouette blinds where I need to soften the look.  LM

@Patriot3

I used to love the drape "puddles" and made some very inexpensive ones (using sheets) for my bedroom.

At the time, I had 3 cats and they LOVED playing in them night and day.  And, it was a favorite sleeping spot.

Those were the last floor length drapes I owned. Cat LOL

So pretty, but probably not very practical for a lot of people. They do just seem to fit in this room though. I think they are gorgeous!

I’m not a fan of puddled drapes but I love this neutral room. A room to appreciate and for short, formal visits. None of the furniture says “sit, relax, get comfy.”
