I will actually be home this visit to see Valerie's shows! That is the good news!

The bad news is I just gave the roof guy the deposit for my new roof today.

AND, I found a slow leak in my spare bedroom that was coming from inside the wall that backs up to the spare bathroom.

They had to cut out a hole in the wall to fix the pipes...cha ching!

While they were here, I had them run an hose bib extension to my shed. More $$$!

So, Valerie better have awful stuff because I am tapped out!

Ugg, I know. Why can't things just never wear out? Ha! A couple months ago we had to replace our heating system. Hubby handled the details.....I didn't even want to know. There are lots of other things that are old and hanging on by a thread. Tons of cwap to look forward to. LOL!

But I'm clueless here, when are Valerie's next shows? I don't want to miss them.

10-12 tomorrow and 1-2 on Thursday.

As for the house, I was so proud and relieved when I paid it off early. Then, all of the former payments turn in to maintenance!

The summer before last, I also had to replace the a/c unit! Then there was paint and the leaking washing machine box.

I hope Valerie can "cheer" me up with her goodies!

Actually, I am really excited about getting my new, fancy metal roof!
