Valerie's Shows

I just heard Valerie and Jayne say the afternoon show and the evening one would be the ONLY harvest shows of hers.

Am I the only one who's REALLY disappointed about this? I always enjoy her shows, get ideas, and order items that will complete my harvest looks. I DVR the ones I can't watch when they're on, and Ienjoy them later when I can sit by myself and relax! And right now I'm surrounded by SEASHELLS and such!

I wonder if it's because of Valerie's schedule or if it's because of QVC's schedule. We will miss harvest, Halloween, and Thanksgivng after today.

Very unhappy about this!

I thought I heard her say something about not having any shows in September so I guess you are correct. I'm sure by October, everything will be back to Christmas.

Yes, Valerie did say she would have one more show today and that was all.

I heard the same thing from Pat this morning, and am a bit disappointed that these may be the only fall shows. I suppose that there aren't many fall products in her line this year or was limited in what is brought in new or re-ordered.

In the brick&mortar stores, I've noticed less has been brought in each year so it's probably the same thing going on.

For me, I don't mind that the harvest shows are just today. I will be done decorating for Fall by the end of the week. The only things that will be missing until they get here are the TSV Luminara lanterns.

I do understand most folks are not like me and don't decorate til September or later though

Just got back home and I noticed there was an hour of Temptations fall decor with candles and gourds and pumpkins. Not happy about that (that's being nice about how I really feel).

I wonder if it affects how much others can bring in and the time given to vendors like Valerie, Candle Impressions, etc.

I've been a big TT buyer through the years, but I have to say, the home decor line she is bringing is beyond tacky. I am not at all happy that this is time we could be seeing more things from Valerie or flameless candle companies being taken up with the Temp-tations line that looks like it came out of a dime store, at best.

Valerie has said that she will appearing in other shows throughout harvest season, but no more whole hour shows.

And I'm guessing that when she does come, it will be 'reruns' of things already released.

@Mominohio Tara has expanded her line so much it has reached a point where it seems as if she just looks around and just tries to figure out what doesn't have her old world or floral lace design on it...and then makes it happen...

I swear I had this Temptations ceramic pumpkin 15 years ago. The punched design was even very similar.

Ceramic candle

I bought it at Target on a 90% clearance when clearance was really good and plentiful there. It didn't have a candle in it, but I paid about 50 cents. Never really figured out a use for it, so it went to Goodwill.
