I bought another product and got a message that I could also sign up for this AD item which was called a harvest basket.  I never saw a presentation and there is no picture anywhere of it.   I thought Valerie's stuff is usually nice so I'll try it.

Wrong decision, it's not nice.  No wonder there was no picture.  It's a flat back door decoration, not a real basket.  It's got a bunch of leaves, some faux berries, and a couple of sunflowers.  The leaves, which line the front edge, are the cheap kind with plastic veins on the back, not wire, so you can't adjust them so they hang over the edge.  They just stick straight up.

She got me on this one.  I'll have the last laugh... It's going back.

Re: Valerie's Harvest Basket

I'm pretty sure I saw that presentation, and yes, she was hanging it on the cupboard she has in the corner of her display room. I remember thinking it would be great for that, but it seemed kind of expensive for that application. I thought it was pretty, but too big for that kind of display. A wreath would be better, unless you have a very large door or cupboard.

H211490 ? .....currently showing as sold out .... is this the one you are referring to ? I thought it looked pretty and colorful in the presentation, almost ordered it for a door. I see similar prices on comparable items at Michaels. Hmmmmm.

I considered the basket also, but when I looked at the pictures on line, especially the back view, you could see how few materials were really in it.  I like the concept of a flat basket for hanging on the door.

@DecorDiva  I've discovered that when you hang something that solid, you can't see out of the peephole in your door.  I got the cute flowered straw hat and cursed it everytime someone rang the doorbell.

@Kachina624

I saw that presented in one of the harvest shows and I complained about the flat bakc too because that limits how it can be used since its not an actual basket and if you use it as a centerpiece your guests sitting behind it would see the flat back.....so for the price its not worth something thats limited............

I cancelled mine.

I have been cautious about getting floral items from Valerie and I have purchased three items and only one have I been pleased with.  I really guess I expected more since she is known for wreaths.
