I noticed something odd about these balls during last night's presentation. At first I thought my eyes were deceiving me, because it looked like these balls were misshapen. They looked like they were sort of squeezed in a bit toward the bottom. Then I went some reviews and noticed some people said their balls were misshapen, too. I was surprised to read so many negative reviews. I was on the fence about these, but after seeing that even the balls that Valerie displayed during the show were misshapen, I don't think that bodes well for me getting a good set. Knowing my track record with getting defective products, I'm pretty sure I'd end up with all 3 being squeezed in or misshapen in some way or another. Sadly, I'm going to pass on these.

The 2 silver sets I got are fine...no odd shaped ones here Smiley Happy

I received both my purple and red sets today. I love them and they are perfect. I don't get the negative reviews. As far as them being misshapen, the glass is not perfectly smooth like the original spheres; it almost has a SLIGHT wavy texture to it. I think they look really pretty unlit even as it has a nice crackle look to it. Glad I purchased these.

I got two sets, silver & green, mine look fine.  I love these.  I like the green lit, but unlit they look like silver over black, not real great.  Silver is beautiful both ways.

I am so happy you got yours but more importantly, you got keepers!  I like these so much; I just ordered a set of blue for my coastal decor; kinda thinking a "watery" effect.  How funny I am packing up my coastal & currently in the process of transitioning into Fall/Halloween!  Oh well, I'll test them for a few days, then I'll pack them up in anticipation of getting them out in 6 months.  Now, bring on those finials!
