I have the gold and the brown from last year, and I have to say, that I don't think they give off very much light. There is more from the gold than the brown, and I'm guessing that is because the brown is darker, and not as much light shines through. My mom has them in silver, and hers shine brighter.

I will say they are one of those things that are just as great unlit as they are when lit, perhaps even better unlit. And I totally get what some are saying about not wanting the light to detract from what they are showcasing on top of the pedestal. Another one of those products that is very versatile and works well both ways.

I just received the chocolate set...OMG! These are AMAZING!!! They are chocolate with a copper glow...and without being lit too!!!

SL, I am so happy you love yours! I ordered the silver & this is my first set as well. I should have never taken a staycation this week, time will crawl by until I get my pkgs from CIJ. Loving your testimonials regarding the beauty unlit; major battery fatigue!

Those pedestals are nice. I got them last year in as is, have green, chocolate, silver and that orangey gold. The green is very pretty too.

It's my first time with these pedestals also, I ordered the silver , would heap vet loved the champagne but they weren't offered so the silver is my 2nd choice. Silver goes well with my decor as well, just love champagne if tier is a choice. I guess originally they did come in that choice.

The champagne ones are usually offered in the VPH Spring shows...about the end of February-early April...HTH
