VPH Blocks Inspiration!

I was just looking at these VPH blocks and thought they would be easy to make. They measure 3" in diameter and thought of what I could use.

 

A few weeks ago, my mailbox keeled over and I had to buy a long 4 x 4 to install a new box. I had a long piece left over and did not throw it out.

 

The blocks measure 7 inches tall. The 4 x 4 can be cut into pieces and you could make all kinds of cute candle stands or copy the VPH blocks. There is a ton of cute craft accessories at Hobby Lobby to glue on top of the block!

 

Paint them red and sprinkle some glitter! Looks like I am going to grab the leftover wood from the garage and get to work! Glad I did not throw it out!

I just returned from Home Depot and had my 4 x 4 cut into several pieces. I had four cut all the same length to make a F-A-L-L candlescape.

 

The rest of them are cut from 6 inches tapering down to 3 inches. I will paint those white and use some glitter for holiday.

 

I bought a sample size of paint in a caramel color for the FALL blocks. Who knew that HD would be so much fun?
