I struggle to find vases that I like because I want them to look good with flowers in them.  I can appreciate vases that are works of art, but I don't have any place to display them.  One of my favorites is this artichoke tulipiere.  I use it for all sorts of fresh flowers.

And I love that you've directed us to more sources for vases you own and love.   This stuff never gets old for us enthusiasts...

@Oznell  I for one do love ceramics, vases pottery. We collect Red Wing crocks. We've got several sizes and use them as decorations. The largest is 20 gallons. We also collect carnival glass, sleep eye pitchers, uranium glass, butter/ dairy crocks, vintage cookie jars. Yikes, that sounds like a lot. We display as much as we can without clutter as neither of us likes a cluttered look. Many items are from his side or my side and others we've purchased from antique stores.

Stunning vases , I especially love the Satin Glass, I have a satin glass bowl that would go perfect with the vases!  I like all types of vases, designs and plain, all shapes.  Since I enjoy putting my faux flowers around the house, the vases create even more beauty.  You can put a vase anywhere and it will be an eye catcher as the ones in the photos.  I can appreciate the love of vases in home decor!

The pink satin glass vases remind me in a way of the Fenton Art Glass pieces. I have a few of the aminal pieces that I love, a deer and a dog.

@SaveTheTurtles ,  @spiderw ,  @Estellee ,  @RNbynite --

So glad you've added your comments and experiences-- I love reading what other people do with their decor, and what they think.  Never get enough of this stuff!

To Whom It May Concern:    I came across an item from designer Lauren McBride on the Q, on sale.  It's H347936,  14" Textured Gold Rimmed Glass Vase.  It's reduced to $19.99, 50% off.  It's got rave reviews from satisfied customers.  Only available now in the blush color, but for anyone who likes pale pink,  perfect.

Even though the blue is sold out, you get a good idea of the height of it below--

I like a lot of Lauren McBride.  The glass has waves or ridges, and then the gold rim dresses it up.   Like Lauren, it has a slight coastal / modern feeling, but would definitely work in many other settings.

Designer Liz Marie also did some glass that caught my eye.  Her things could veer 'cottage-y', or a little bohemian.  These are not technically vases-- they're cloches--  but often function the way a vase would.  They showed them with flameless candles, greenery, many possibilities.

I love her fresh take on the cloche, and the wavy iron trays that come with them!

Cozy Cottage by Liz Marie Set of 2 Large and Small Glass Cloches   H447812.   Not on sale though, at $36.00.

They have a charming, almost "naive" quality, and look vaguely "French" to me.  They come in clear, a blush pink, and what Q is calling green.  On my monitor, it doesn't look that green though-- more kind of "smoky"?

I love vessels of all kinds, shapes, colors and materials. I always lean toward the more classic and traditional, but occasionally a more modern piece makes its way in.

I love colorful vases with real and artificial flowers. I prefer real though because sometimes artificial get so dusty. But there are some very pretty artificial ones now that are made so much better.....

I find they can really brighten up a room, and add such warmth..
