we used to use it as bug spray up in the adirondacks.  worked real good!

I do not find that SSS  is effective as an insect repellant. I use it in my bath every day and I am a mosquito magnet. However, it is a very good product for moisturizing dry skin - which is what it is supposed to be used for.
