Update on house progress from Hurricane Sandy . . .

As most of you know, our shore house was wrecked during Hurricane Sandy, and I've been complaining that we're having a slow start putting it back together because we were waiting for the estimate from the contractor that we really liked. Well, got the estimate and it was ridiculous. Most of the line items said "customer's responsibility". Well, we are not going to use him. We decided just to take our time and get jobs done one at a time (hire our own guys) no matter how long it takes. Today, the guy who is doing the new furnace/a.c. is going there and he's removing the old ones. I think the new system will be installed and working within the next 2 weeks or so. So, that's job #1 under our belt. YIPEE.

Next, is to find someone to tear out the floors and walls.
