OK, I got an amazing deal on unfinished nutcrackers from Michaels this morning. It was buy 1 ($14.99) and get 3 FREE. What? I'm thrilled. All 4 (about 13inches high, big) for $14.99...

I bought them after seeing and loving @Oznell 's recent post. Here they are....(I hope you can see them)

Oh, boy, what a deal you got, @GingerHead ,  great alert.   ( The photo is showing up fine on my computer.)  I love them, and there's something about the unpainted ones, they have such a naive charm!   Few Christmas toys are as beguiling as playful nutcrackers-- they always catch my eye.

With four, you will be able to do so much.  Hope you'll keep us posted and let us know how you "deploy" them...
