I guess eveyone's taste is different.  I really like the stools at the island.  They don't look uncomfortable to me.  I love the whole look of the island.  I don't like the stove and range hood.  I love the flooring. The beams work well in the space.  The entire space is open and inviting. The room with the extra bunk spaces is great for kids.  You get all of that space because it's in Utah.  Lovely place to visit but I couldn't live there.
