@BunSnoop yup, happened to me a couple of weeks before Christmas. Hate it, when it happens. I thought I was so thorough in checking pockets, ha, joke was on me.

@BunSnoop DH is famous for leaving tissue in the pockets and I do as well when I have pockets.

Dumbest thing I did without thinking:

Had the condo washer filled with dark chocolate color sheets and towels. Was in a hurry so I absentmindedly tossed in the new pack of white bar towels with the sheets and towels. One hour later I discovered the mess....threw all but the bar towels in the dryer ( they would air dry ) and got my large roll of clear packing tape.

Then used the tape to do every side of the sheets and towels when dry....keep checking the lint trap !!! ( No need to rewash them ).

Tissues in the machine are no fun, but what was even worse was when my son was little- putting his clothes in the machine with crayons in the pocket. Now that was a mess!!! Can anyone relate????

Yesssss! The hubs left tissue in his sweatpants pocket. Ugh....the Kleenex was everywhere! I was screaming inside my head! It's a mess to clean. I had to vacuum the floor, washer, dryer. Now I check every pocket before I do a wash.

I've done it, I'm sure we all have. But....last week I was doing laundry at my apartment, and found a $20 bill in the washer. (Shared laundry room with 12 apartments). It wasn't mine, as my load was all sheets and towels.

@BunSnoop Despite my most HERCULEAN EFFORTS to make sure I clean my pockets before hanging up my clothes to AVOID this very annoying situation, It happened AGAIN TODAY! GRRRR! I dealt with it OK, but re-committed myself to making sure it doesn't happen again!
