@BunSnoop Absolutely!  Or forgotten to take the new tags off clothes.  My BF constantly forgets to take foam ear plugs out of his work tee shirts, or he misses coins in the pockets.  Once I found nice clean bills totalling $11 in the washer.

That used to happen to me all the time when I did my mom's laundry. You would think I would have learned over a period of time that she always left kleenex in her pockets

My brother stuck gold when he did a load of his clothes.  After the wash, he found a $100.00 bill folded in his pocket.  A week earlier he thought he found a dollar bill in the gutter while cleaning his car.  He put it in his pocket and forgot about it.  He's always forgetting about stuff in his pocket.  He's laundered his library card, etc.  Only after the wash did he peek in his pocket and saw the money.

An inexpensive roll of tape (2" works best) saves the day quickly!

I always blame it on someone else, lol.

It all comes off in the dryer even though that makes a mess too.

I washed a new sweatshirt with a couple of older sweats recently! 

Same basic problem!  Lint everywhere!  What didn't come off in the dryer...tape did, quickly!

Oh, my, I would be surprised by someone who hasn't done this.  It's such a mess to clean up and why is it always in a dark load?

It's the worst. I shake them off and throw them in the dryer-it does the job for me. It's all in the filter so i ball up what's on the filter and then wipe up the remnants on the floor which cling to that ball. (still a real pain wasting my time).
