While everyone else is admiring the sails in the first photo, all I can see is the dead tiger mounted on the wall.  Not conducive to my sense of "home."

The second photo is less disconcerting, but not my style.  With so many hard surfaces and angles, I'd bet it echoes.

So different and both so stunning. I to love the artwork in the first one. That staircase in the second is beautiful.

The Sail space does not appeal to me at all...the Lucite is not my thing.

I like the bottom space very much...very clean and inviting.

Those sails also reminded me of the Flying Nun at first glance. Didn't care for the Plexiglass panels at all, which would probably bounce sound throughout the area.

The second is pretty, uncluttered and inviting. Would have preferred all wood floors for a cohesive look and larger windows on the first floor. The staircase is lovely.

very striking, and very beautiful. I could just sit and look at those photos for a while....The only thing is that in the 1st pic, I am not sure what that is hanging on the wall, but that would have to go for me.....lol..

@IamMrsG

Oh my!

I didn't notice the mounted tiger skin on the wall!

What?

The caption on the glass rail photo indicated a remodel was wanted by someone who desired an Asian influence (hence the origami-inspired hanging "sails.")
