@stevieb  I like the second one. It seems much calmer and more relaxed to me.

 

The mass of color in the first one would disturb me over time.

Both are very pretty.  A few too many leaves in the first one; a few too little in the second.

They are both beautiful but my pick is 1, love all the color in an otherwise bland sea of beige.

I do like both but #2 is more welcoming IMO...I can feel the heat of the fire from here.

I prefer #1.  The mantel in #2 is a big turn off for me because I don't care for the mirror image on both sides of the mantel.  That's me.
