#1 is my preference, it seems softer and more serene to me! I like both though, but #1 is my preference.

#2, but only to visit, not to live in on a daily basis. 

 

Ordinarily, I'd prefer the wood color in #1, but overhead it feels more oppressive than #2.

 

Great vacation view, though.

I prefer the first one.  There is just too much wood to be stained that reddish/golden color; it's overwhelming.

 

The cool neutrals of the first room are much more soothing and relaxing.

Number 1.  I cannot stand wood on the walls unless it is oak in a library or office.

Aren't they the same room?  

 

I'd pick #1 because of the sitting area and the color palette.  I'd want my bedroom to be a place where I can unwind, so I'd feel more relaxed with color palette #1 compared to #2.  However, I'd want to replace the carpet.
