This looks like it's from the 40s or 50s...perhaps a home belonging to some Hollywood actress. I'm not a fan of tufting, so it's not for me.

While it is different the tufted area isn't appealing to me.  I do like the seating though.

Very extravagant looking!  I wouldn't want it personally, but it goes well with the rest of the decor.

Take away the Loretta Young tufted wall and the room is pretty.

Very true! I had 6 of Valerie's ottomans and it was a pain to clean around those buttons.

@sunshine45  Oh sunshine thanks for a positive comment that I agree with.  Great use of space (not my style either) but I'd sure like to see what the rest of the home looks like.  I enjoy looking at impractical crazy and outrageous spaces, not live in them but appreciating the uniqueness of others.

like in this space is the dark wood floor & stairs.
