I find it symmetrically boring.

Re: Traditional and Pleasant

I like everything but the coffee table, the topiarys, pottled plant and the fireplace mirror.   I would also have window coverings.

Re: Traditional and Pleasant

This is a very nice and pleasant room, very pleasing to the eye, love the windows and the fireplace, the chandelier almost looks too fancy for this room though.

Not traditional or pleasant in my book. Just another bland transitional living area with next to no personality. Too bad because the space has potential.

Re: Traditional and Pleasant

I like it.  Not so much the style but the light from the window and colors of the walls and trim.

I had dark and drab for too long. 👏👏

Re: Traditional and Pleasant

I really like this room.....plenty of space, beautiful double patio doors and windows, clean lines with the furniture, beautiful built-in bookshelves with just enough personal items, minimal pillows on the sofas, and table tops that aren't loaded with stuff!  I don't love the looks of the coffee table, but the size works. It's a calming and inviting room.

Re: Traditional and Pleasant

I do like the room itself, the shelves on either side of the fireplace, the glass doors with the view of nature, the chandelier.  Aside from those I would empty the room and replace the furniture and decor, and rug.  It needs to be perked up.  I am not talking drastic change, just adding some things to give it appeal.

Re: Traditional and Pleasant

Your title is accurate:  Traditional and pleasant.

To me, when describing a space, neither of those terms is a compliment.  I'm on Team Boring.  But I do think it has potential; the actual room is lovely.

I like the architecture of the room but not the furnishings or accessories. It’s ok, but not for me. I prefer more warmth. It’s a do over for me.
