Re: Traditional Home + Matchy Matchy

Omg, that wall paper is just too much.  I'd get dizzy in that room.  I would never have wall paper that is an exact match to furniture coverings.

I like it.  I especially like the bedding.  I try to think outside the box, but (sadly) I'm matchy matchy at heart!  Woman LOL

Re: Traditional Home + Matchy Matchy

I've hung a lot of wallpaper over the years, although none in the last 15. So while I like wallpaper, there's just way too much of this same pattern/print in the room for me. The secretary piece looks too staged. Each shelf is identical left to center and right to center. That's too matchy-matchy for me!

Not for me. Don't like wallpaper and certainly don't like green.

Re: Traditional Home + Matchy Matchy

I like this room - love wallpaper and green is my color.  I like matchy-matchy.  But as much as I like wallpaper I would prefer a different print.  Same colors just a different print.  I would have to see it, but maybe the same print, but on a smaller scale in the wallpaper thus more background and less print.  The chair could still be the same scale print.

Not my taste but I have to say it does look cozy & tastefully done.  The furniture looks like good quality.

Re: Traditional Home + Matchy Matchy

It doesn't follow trends (I hate trends), and it has a timeless look of, like someone said, old English cottages, Laura Ashley, or something that didn't just come out of a box or is the hot item of the moment.

It has personality and warmth to me.  It looks like you could cuddle right in with a book (also old fashioned), or an e-reader and a cup of tea or a glass of wine and spend a blissful time reading and napping.

I like it.

The paper is a bit much, but I much prefer it over a lot of what I see done in home interiors today.

Gimme that traditional anytime.

Nope, nothing about it I like.   Not one thing.

It looks like a cozy room in a B&B.  I'd love to spend the night there.
