We, all, seem to be in agreement! No, I would not! I, often, wonder how many people are happy with the end results. What happens if you hate it, do they have to fix it or put it back?

No way. I don't trust some of the weirdo tastes of the designers. It would be just my luck to get one of them and end up with a room we hated and then we'd have to start all over again and redo it ourselves anyway.

Years ago Laurie and Genevieve did such nice rooms. It just seems like the reboot of TS is for tv only. No one really seems to care what the homeowners want or need.

I can't even imagine the damage left behind by Hilde.

@grandma r. I remember years ago, Doug was doing a home with beautiful white woodwork, and lots of it. He painted it all black. I never watched the show again after that episode. I was sick about it as he showed no regard for other's property.

I'm really picky about home decor, but I'd totally let Vern Yip redesign one of my rooms just to see what he'd do—I love his sense of style and he always keeps the homeowners and their lifestyles and needs in mind.

The rest of the TS crew . . . NO WAY.

@grandma r - In general, I like the styles Laurie and Genevieve bring to the show, but you've really got to be okay with a room that is mainly yellow or green because that's 90% of what they do. They're the two designers I'd most like to just hang out with, though; they both seem lovely inside and out.
