Re: Toxic odor from La-Z-Boy

I hope she demands a full refund for the sofa. I need to replace a sofa and a chair in our den and the used stuff on marketplace looks better than even the expensive new things. It's the same problem trying to find shoes that are actual genuine leather. I almost ordered a pair and right before I hit "submit" I saw "genuine VEGAN leather". Really need to check the details now on everything.

DH will have a shoulder replacement in May and will need a recliner for several weeks...I dread having to find one.

There are lots of names for fake wood now. If it's real wood, seems there would be no reason for toxic glues.

Re: Toxic odor from La-Z-Boy

I'm only wondering if the odor is from the fabric......maybe the anti-stain coating/sprays?

Without getting too close, can one smell the fabric?  Remember, don't get too close.

I'm only guessing that, in general, some odor/fumes aren't the best for lungs, etc.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
