It's not so much that it's too much teal for me, as that I just don't like many of the elements comprising this seating area. Whatever the color, I don't like the art, the pillows, the coffeetable, the ottoman or the vases.

@Wilma7500  Not too much teal for me.  I do not care for the white pole lamp and some of the art work.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I like teal and I like the room, BUT it needs some tweaking-----as you said I'd get rid of that furry ottoman and the 2 vases by the lamp, and use only one piece of artwork above the sofa....

I have a lot of the lighter teal but I use a light orange as my other accent color.

I would have gone with a lighter wood coffee table and not the accent vases next to the lamp. I don't like the accent table and too much matchy pieces. 

The room needs to be warmed up.
