I love 'magic erasers' for cleaning all around my house, the only down side I have is how they crumble and fall apart.

When I was shopping on Amazon I stumbled across 'Knock Out! Fights Crumbling sponges'.  LOVE them!!!!

They work just like a magic eraser but it lasts forever.  You can really scrub and not have any crumbling.  The texture is great.

I see they now make a kitchen verison but I have not tried that one yet, so I can not speak to that one.

Just wanted to share.

Thanks for the tip.  I have the same problem with Magic Erasers - they

don't last very long before falling apart.  Will check out the one you

mentioned.

i will check that out. I use so many magic erasers that I buy them by the case from QVC.

abrowneyedgirl, Thanks so much for the tip! That's the one thing I hate about the Magic Ereasers, the crumbling, so having that resolved would be great. I hope the kithchen ones are as good. Thanks again! pinky

When I first bought the Magic Eraser years ago, it didn't crumble.  Now, it doesn't last thru the first use.

I cut my magic erasers into smaller pieces, so I just use the size I need for whatever task.

I treat Magic Erasers the same way I do SOS Pads -- I tear off a piece just large enough for the job at hand.  That way, crumbling (or rusting) is not an issue.
