Timers on CI candles not working

Have you ladies had any problems with the timers on the CI candles? I returned that metal lantern as the timer was so loose it didn't work. I just returned the votives as they stayed on all the time on the 5 hr. timer.

This is the first time I've had to return two products back to back. I did get the Hummingbird candles which are beautiful and work well. TIA
