I have a new(er) obsession with throws. It has been building for about two years. I often pick up great throws on clearance or Lunchtime specials on Q.

I was in Sam's on Friday and noticed they had on clearance very large throws (60x70 I believe) in that velvety Berkshire like fabric. They have two layers, one printed, the other solid, with a sculpting on the solid side. For cheap throws, I thought they were great for the money. They were marked down to $9 each.

I hadn't really paid attention to them during the season, but the price caught my eye. I could only find one that suited my decor/style, black (maybe dark grey?) with a cream elegant scroll pattern, solid black on the reverse, so I grabbed it quickly as it was the last one.

The other colors/patterns were too bold and bright for me,but I picked up two more with the thoughts that they'd make good car blankets, good gifts (one color scheme would suit my best friend), or whatever came along, just couldn't pass them up for the price.

Well, my  oldest kitty has discovered mine, so I may have to turn at least one of them over to the cats!

Just thought if anyone else might be looking, and their club hasn't sold out yet, they might want to check it out. I'm really pleased with the quality, size style and definitely the price.

I also have a weakness for throws.  It seems I'll always find one better and softer than what I have at home.

Thanks for the recommendation at Sam's.  I certainly don't need anymore, but for that price.  Woman LOL

I have a weakness for throws as well, especially quilted ones (I don't find them much anymore).... BUT I agree that the Sam's Club throws are wonderful.  I also bought one that plugged in but at 50 x70 it ended up being way to much for me and my chair.... wish they made one much smaller.  I use them a lot because my chair is right by the outside wall and windows and when it gets -15 out there it's always colder where my chair is....

Right now I use a larger heating pad AND my throw.... which is a D.Basso throw... that is if I can roll the dog off it.... Woman Wink

Our weather in the NE has been so CRAZY that I've been sleeping with a throw from Kohls on my feet, over my spread.

Easy to kick off if it gets too warm overnight, and cozy to pull back up when my room gets chilly.

I washed this one last week and it came theough perfectly.

How funny, I kind of do the same thing... I have a wonderful crochet throw my Mom made for my Dad shortly befoare they passed and I've used it over the covers ever since.  On top of that I use a Timberlake throw I got a long time ago.... I'm usually chilled when I go to bed then warm up and get hot so they all go on before I go to bed and I start stripping them as the night goes on.... lol!  Woman Happy

Well, I see I'm not alone with appreciating a nice throw or three or four.
Once I discovered the Berkshire Velvet Soft  Throws I was hooked.
I've purchased them for myself and for gifts for the past three years.  I was sure that I had enough but when the Q offered the set of three throws for under $30.00, I couldn't pass them up.  Love their softness and it's so nice to cuddle up on the sofa with a good throw and read or watch TV.
I keep telling myself that I have enough but do I really?  Woman Very Happy

I have a Timberlake throw too.  I wonder how many ladies here have heard of Bob Timberlake.  And I also got it from the Q maybe 20 yrs. ago.  I just use it for decoration though.
