Throw Featured on Home Page

[ Edited ]

All last week there was a featured down filled throw for sale on the home page.  There was no video of the product.  It was advertised for $24,98.

I got this throw in the Turkish Tile, a petty teal color. It came today and it's so thin and flat I wondered if somebody forgot to put a few feathers in it. This isn't going to save anybody from freezing in their car. It's a very slippery fabric. I was thinking of putting it across the foot of the bed but it world slide off in minutes. The funniest thing is that this has a price tag on it from BBB for $29.99 so I guess Q customers got a real bargain. Apparently QVC has joined it's sister Zulily as a disposal outlet.

A price tag from BBB? That is really bad. I would be beyond mad too.

Could a dishonest person have returned a different item for credit, thus the other store's label?

Re: Throw Featured on Home Page

I bought two (one by accident) and I am so disappointed in the appearance and quality of the throw.  The throws are not fluffy as shown in the picture that was on the homepage.  I hardly give reviews, but had to search and see if others were also disappointed.  Since the item is sold out, one can't view what others think of the item.   I love Qvc, but wow this was a total let down.

Got two of these. It is the cheapest, thinnest piece of junk I have EVER gotten from QVC.  Mad as a hornet here!!!  This is not worth $9.99, let alone $25!!  Can we say RIPOFF???

What did you do?

Re: Throw Featured on Home Page

@Kachina624- I belong to the QVC Addicts page on Facebook and several people there were commenting about receiving an item from QVC very recently with the Bed Bath and Beyond price sticker on it.  I can't remember if it was a throw, but it probably was.

Bizarre stuff.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@QuackerooYou description is right on target.  I hope Q is happy that they pulled one over on us and unloaded some junk.  It's not worth returning but every time they pull this stunt, a hunk of trust goes out the door.

Re: Throw Featured on Home Page

I almost purchased one. My cousin said she had one just like it from BB&B and it wasn’t that great, so I passed. How ironic.
