I like how light-filled and vibrant this house feels.

Some mid-centuries that go through some rehab look like someone just slapped a new coat of paint in the rooms and feel dark. This one also adds a dash of contemporary to make it interesting.

Modern architecture isn't, by any means, a favorite of mine, but I do like some of it. Were I to live in a modern style house, I'd decorate it completely against type. I can deal with modern architecture but not with a whole house of modern furniture.

@stevieb  I'd like that look too and it's fine IF you're sure you're never going to sell the home. My brother and SIL had a beautiful french county style home on 2 acres, it was decorated beautifully in an eclectic style, all quite traditional. When they sold it, the buyers had all beautiful contemporary furniture. Due to a job transfer they had sell it and move about one year later. The house lingered on the market for months (I saw the RE photos online) and they sold it about $150K less than they paid for it, this was about 5 years ago. Because most home buyers really don't have any vision, it's safer if the inside and outside are cohesive.

All the seating looks uncomfortable.

Wow....the house itself (and, of course, the view) are beautiful!!!  I like most of the furniture & decor but, maybe, would choose different colors on some of them.  I'm not into the wallpapered focal wall that appears in the bedrooms, etc.

The only thing I like is the setting, but then I don't like modern.

Modern style is not my style.

I like the outdoor spaces more than the interior furnishings.

Not really loving the choices and combinations of color and patterns. The bold wallpaper patterns are too much for me. The kitchen and dining room look a little bit like an "eat-in diner" to me. The "oh la la" over the toilet is strange. Why would you want those words there?

While this is not my style, I see rooms that I like certain elements in. I think all the woods they used warmed it up nicely so as not to look too cold. Usually that's what I don't like about modern.  In this one, however, so much of it works for me to my surprise.  That outdoor view is something to behold!

@just bee

Love the exterior of the home, very welcoming.

The living area:  I like the grey curved sofa & the 2 grey curved chairs.  Nothing else.

The kitchen:  I dislike the wall tile & area rug.  I think the stools are OK where they are.  I'm just wondering if there're sliding cabinet doors to cover up the displays.  On the right side end, there appears to be a cabinet door.  If they purposely left those displays open, then I think it's a huge mistake.

The bedrooms:  I dislike all the wallpapers used EXCEPT the white/gold one.

The bathrooms: Love the coral tile in the first pic.  Hate the green tile in the 2nd pic.

Thanks for sharing.
