Those are very creative ideas. I am not very creative so I appreciate it! I will, as always put up my Chrismtas tree. I like others, simply adore the charm around the holidays.

With the world like it is, at least it brings joy to my little corner of it. My kids always appreciate my decorations as they have cats and just put out ceramic trees!

loved the pix, but some look like MORE work than a simple tree! every year I think I will skip the tree....then I realize it would be late December and I'd regret not having my tree up.

I decorate everywhere, inc front porch, deck, ALL rooms have at least something in it. every year I swear I will reduce my xmas stash.....but then when I get things out I can't imagine giving them up.

its all for me and with covid, no one comes inside to see things. just what's visible from the windows facing my condo neighbors.

today's trees are so easy to put up, I can't imagine not having one. at least not yet......

I love looking at the Christmas trees with their beautiful lights and ornaments.

Some of these ideas are very cute. I would do those in addition to my trees.

There are tree forms that will hold potted poinsettias as well. These are faux from Ashley Home Store.

Many of the alternatives pictured were technically some sort of tree, and some looked like they would take time and talent to set up. I'm looking forward to a brand new Balsam Hill tree that I got at a January clearance sale for a super low price.

Occasionally, I cannot put up a tree due to my health or family situations. Some of the alternatives are clever-- I really like the ladders. However, some slternatives, while charming, require skills that I seem to lack. LOL

I bought myself a very small table top tree with white frosted branches. It's easy to decorate with tiny ornaments and mini lights and easy to store away.
