They're Back!!!!

Stink Bugs! All of a sudden. They don't scare me like other bugs. If they're inside I scoop 'em up in my hand, open the side door, open my hand and they fly away. No problem. But don't EVER get on my bed or my pillow. I don't mind you but there are limits!

I flush them. But, they have not been much of a problem for us since we got new windows about 10 years ago.

The only place I've ever seen them is at my sister's house in Pennsylvania.

@Kachina624 My brother lives in the Pittsburgh area...They are bombarded with stink bugs right now. I am on the other side of the state and we are dealing with those disgusting red lantern flies. They will be gone as the weather gets cooler...the sooner the better.

I'm in Pa. Haven't seen any stink bugs yet, but do have the spotted lantern fly, but have seen very few of them.

I am in Northeast Ohio. I thought with the coolness of the last month or so they wouldn't be so bad this year. I was wrong. I did spray the window sills last week. Perhaps it will help.

I'm in WV and have just dealt with finding 12 young black snakes in my basement over a 4-5 week time period. It's time for the big brown wood spiders to emerge and in another week or so the asian beetles will be here. Baby copperheads are born in September, so I'm on alert for them when I'm outside in the grass.
