The ugly comments regarding Lisa Robertson's decorating video bring a question to mind:

How many of us can look at home decor and recognize talent and beauty, even if it isn't your particular style or taste?

I can. For instance, I am not into the modern, sparse look at all. I would never choose to do my home in that style. However, I can look at a room that someone has done for themselves in that style and think: "That's really nice....they have a good "eye".

I'm just using that example, there are many more from which to choose. I also would not choose to decorate in an overly "country" style, but I have seen many homes that people have done in that style which are truly lovely.

So....how do you feel?
