I had my contractor neighbor here last week to replace the ceramic floor tile in our master bath, and install a new vanity.   The new vanity has drawers, which help a lot with organizing the most used items, but greatly reduces the storage area behind the door.   My solution was to toss everything that didn't seem to have a spot.   I didn't blink an eye when I tossed the stuff in the garbage bag.

@pinky ann Yes that was me!  My cats were in the picture too! I was so happy with how our fireplace and tree turned out! We saved all the ribbons and things from our Christmas tree for next year too in our bins! One of these years we might try to have a Christmas party!  

Sounds like you are on a roll! I need to get back too it. Really what I need to do is go and get a second hamper, that way when one is downstairs in the laundry room the clothes don't get thrown on the floor of the closet. My husband and I split a dresser and a large closet, I hardly open his drawers! Ha ha! When I do it's usually comic books instead of clothes, but that's for another day! Ha ha!
