I bought a coffee table type book several years ago about the White House. It was published during George and Laura Bush's time in the White House. So many nice pictures in the book and some interesting facts about the WH.

I watched a special today about Queen Elizabeth. The White House probably seems like a nice little cottage compared to Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, etc. LOL

This is to ensure her selections for the Macrons' visit have meaning behind them, down to the china, flowers, color scheme and menu, which, while American, will highlight the influence France has had on American cuisine
