I get UPS packages daily 5 or 6 a day.. some extremely heavy large ones from Amazon....lol
I have watched my "much loved" UPS guy grow up from a skinny unsure kid on his first job to a fine good looking take charge young man.
I would remind your UPS guy that without you,he would not have a job!!!

It really surprises me that a UPS driver would make such a comment. I can assure you as the Mother of a driver that the company would not be very happy if this was reported and I wouldn't blame you if you did.

The UPS guy was serious. He wasn't joking.
Our regular UPS driver is a female, but we haven't had anything delivered to our home via UPS in months. Most things we order are now sent SurePost, so the UPS driver delivers them to the post office, and the post office delivers them the next day.
Most months I get maybe 3 packages total.
I'm 45, and this guy looked young.
Guess he's a Psychology major or something.

Once I opened the door forgetting that I had a facial mask on (for hours!), was dressed in pajamas even though it was late afternoon and no make up on.
The UPS man said something like "Don't worry....you're meds are here!".
I was signing for a gold watch that had been repaired, not medication! I said nothing.

What a jerk... none of his business.

some of those dumb UPS comments reminds me of some of the dumb things the Hosts say while selling us the stuff UPS brings us....

My dad was a UPS driver.I have his safe driving gold watch and medals.I used to wait for him to get home from work ,he would hide treats in his lunchbox for me. I loved his brown suit and hat .I showed my UPS guy his picture with his UPS truck, which was a black ford car in those days. He later became the cashier for UPS when they collected cash delivery orders.
They work hard! I always think about what he would think about UPS global shipping today with planes and all.
My UPS notified my neighbors to check on me, when he did not find me available which was unusual. Great guy !

He was out of line & it's none of his business. His job is just to deliver the items, period.
I live in an apt, so when I'm not home to take delivery, the poor guy has to take it over to the management office. When he found out I worked in academia, he asked me, with a hopeful tone of voice, if that meant I'd be home during the summer months (unfortunately, no). He's a good guy, though, & when I do see him he's always very nice.

Jeez relax, the poor guy was just making a joke. The lady doth protest too much. Hmmm

Sounds like UPS man might have been having a bad day. I can't imagine someone (who I'm sure cashes every paycheck) would complain about having to deliver packages, when that's what he's getting paid to do!
