I'm really wondering how Emy made out with her quilt gifts!!

But DD loved her tea cozie!! I wrapped the unfinished decorative butterfly pot holder (I meant it to be a teapot holder) with the binding.

My DH took apart the old sewing machine (that was his mother's). He found pins inside, lint like you wouldn't believe, and he oiled everything, wherever the manual said. I bought new needles. So now it works like a charm! But I never got time to finish the potholder, so I had to wrap it unfinished. She loved that, too!

I'm still getting the new machine, because I always wanted something that would do more than just straight & zigzag.

But, what do I do with the old one? In a way, I hate parting with it because it was my dear MILs.
