Re: The TSV looks like more wires than lights

[ Edited ]

I've also had problems with a strand from Pier1 called Glimmer Strings.  It started coming on at a totally different time of day than it should have, and more than once I'd correct it, change the batteries, and it would do it again eventually.  Oh, and the battery life is not good.

I agree that Valerie's set of warm white microlights are great.  Mine were as-is priced, H209161, so a really good bargain.  The set I received take 3-AA batteries, even though they are listed as having 3-AAA batteries.  They are supposed to be restocked soon, so if I was in the market for more microlights, I'd wait for them.  The original item number is H205480.  I also like that the wires are virtually invisible because they are silver.  They have 5-hour timers.

I would order them, they are a good buy and look at the convenience lol.  I have 2 that I bought last year from QVC.  Put batteries in the beginning of spring and only had to replace them one time - they're still going strong.  They may not look like much in person but wow, at night, just lovely - and bright.

Re: The TSV looks like more wires than lights

I have a bunch of these lights and was pleasantly surprised to see them as a TSV since I needed to replace my red sets.  This is a great value.  I was just looking at them on other sites.  I love these.  I use them on wreaths as well as "crystal" garland as well as all over the place. I love lights.  I have an old set from BL that require 6 batteries and honestly the battery life is not good but the TSV type are wonderful.

 I think the price and variety of colors are good.  I bought two sets.  I would like one of each color, but I don't need that many.  ðŸ˜€

@SHOPR

I think I have those Valerie ones.  I don't use them because the battery didn't last long.  I seem to think they I bought them longer than a couple years ago.  Maybe I got the first version and it got better in the second version??

@GCR18, I wish I could be more help, but I don't remember if the Valerie microlights had more than one version.   Knowing how QVC tends to operate, I would guess that they were probably brought back with slight changes or improvements.   I think I get a month or more from a strand on the 5-hour timer.   I am assuming that I was sent the correct light strands that go with the item numbers I listed.  Since they were as-is, anything is possible.
