Re: The S/5 Natural Candle Rings (Rosehill)

Marsha, All 5 rings are full of mainly the glossy plastic looking pieces, with few of the acceptable leaves and pine cones to help disguise the others. I'm now resigned to the fact that it was just a poor purchase that will be returned.

I do remember reading all those reviews on the Spring green set that I also wanted. I'm undecided at this point which sets I may eventually order. On a positive note, I am pleased with the fullness of the set, and still haven't seen anything made quite like these elsewhere.

mousiegirl, Thanks for letting us know you are pleased with the Winter Berry rings. Sounds like they were a good choice.

SHOPR - I am sorry the rings are not suitable. The pine needles on the winter berry rings look very real, but the cedar look plastic, but as they will be far enough away from the eye, so to speak, they will be fine.

Just an update on my return of the candle rings: GR issued a full refund, so I was not out any original s&h or return fees after all. When filling out the return form, there was an area to explain the reason for the return, and I really emphasized how poor the quality was.

Good for you. Yours probably wasn't the only complaint. Now you can get something else, gotta keep those $$ in circulation. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

We really do take chances when we order sight unseen. Return shipping charges, packing things up, the trip to the PO or shipper.

I'm really happy you didn't lose $$ on this SHOPR.

Sorry your candle rings were not something you were happy with. By looking at your picture, I would have sent them back too. They did look like something you could pick up for a lot less $$$.

Glad that they came thru for you and you got all your money back. Hopefully you can find something like them that fit you needs.
