I love a pop of red in a room.  In my family room I have a red velour chair and ottoman as well as serval red knick knacks around the room.  The chair reminds me of the Thinking Chair from Blue's Clues, my 22 year old daughter's favorite show as a little girl.

As much as I like that room and the red furniture, I know I would get sick of the pattern and the red color PDQ.
