I don't know why a successful and wealthy person who seems to already have a full life would even be interested in putting her name on this stuff. Home decor to me is fluffy throws, pillows, accent rungs, ottomans, things one can incorporate effortlessly into their one style. This stuff looks like someone went shopping in a crafts store and brought back the clearance aisle junk.
If that's her style, I wouldn't like her home. I remember when Whoopie Goldberg brought her home decor to QVC. One show. that's it.Bed lines and most likely not successful. What's the point?
Why do so many folks care what famous people have in their homes I never understood that... Is life so void that the grass might be greener elsewhere....
good grief, who said I care? I don't and if she didn't bring this junk to QVC I certainly wouldn't look or comment. But since it is hyped because of her sense of style, I commented that if this is her style I wouldn't like it. Don't people know how to comprehend comments anymore? Your ridiculous statement about life being void is not even applicable to this conversation.
I think you're the one who didn't comprehend the comment.
then explain it to me because I don't get sarcasm and clever remarks most of the time. I only understand things that are just plain and simple and to the point. If she meant the general public has lives so void that buying celebrity junk is meaningful to them, aren't I part of the general public.
And if she quoted my post, then I assume she was talking to me only, otherwise she could have made her comment without using my post as a lead-in.You know what? Given the rest of this thread I want to apologize because I think I am the one that didn't comprehend.
I thought javala was commiserating. Now, not so sure.
I was speaking in general sad that many lives are so empty today they fill it with Pop culture, and for most of my life time we have to walk in egg shells we really stop living and being our selves. If someone or thing was misunderstood they should have an opportunity to clarify it and their apology should be accepted, unless proven other wise.
We are not mind readers this where much of the discord starts trying to read minds.
Mean people should be shun not hated or deprived of a living, yet not overly thrill in ones company until they realize their poor behavior.
You can love your follow man but you don't have to like their demeanor at times, and it is good to let them know you are not please.
cold shoulders are not a good place to be.

Same here, but I don't buy anything that a celebrity sells. Not one item, no matter what it is.

The celeb thing is become a joke and a hit with SHOP NETWORKS. At first i thought it was due to the celeb becoming washed up' NOT SO. Now I think it is to grab fans and the celeb possibly banks a huge check even if it does not sale.

I am not going to buy anything just because it has a celebrity's name on it. Most of them just get paid for lending their name to the product and really don't use it. I wonder if some of the retailers think we are that naïve.
