It is sad when the add's place so much hype on a new item only to see it is just refurbished.

On top of that there were no colors just boring white the part I watched and there is enough white with all the snow in the winter.

That is why they used color to make things more festive

Re: The Ellen Degeneras line

The mugs are the only things that really grabbed my eye. Mugs are probably the last thing I need or have room for, though, so I don't think I'll be buying.

Google "Mugtail" to see other mugs with animal tails. They are all new to me. Where have I been? Cute!

this line of goods looks like cheap junk one can pick up in Big Lots. I don't know why a successful and wealthy person who seems to already have a full life would even be interested in putting her name on this stuff. Home decor to me is fluffy throws, pillows, accent rungs, ottomans, things one can incorporate effortlessly into their one style. This stuff looks like someone went shopping in a crafts store and brought back the clearance aisle junk.

If that's her style, I wouldn't like her home. I remember when Whoopie Goldberg brought her home decor to QVC. One show. that's it.Bed lines and most likely not successful. What's the point?

I looked through her products this morning and really wasn't too impressed. Same old stuff the Q offers only with her name on it. She shouldn't quit her daytime job.

I agree. The throws, the trees..etc. However, I think there have been some thinly veiled personal remarks about Ellen in this thread, and those are uncalled for. Voicing an opinion about her products is one thing. Going after her based on her s*exuality is another and mean-spirited. Ellen is a good person who is very charitable and she doesn't deserve personal jabs.

good grief, who said I care? I don't and if she didn't bring this junk to QVC I certainly wouldn't look or comment. But since it is hyped because of her sense of style, I commented that if this is her style I wouldn't like it. Don't people know how to comprehend comments anymore? Your ridiculous statement about life being void is not even applicable to this conversation.

The only obvious reason that Ellen wouldn't have a fragrance line is because she is a Covergirl. Covergirls are known to be beautiful, successful women. Covergirl is also a beauty company owned by Procter & Gamble which owns fragrance companies. It would be a possible conflict of interest or her to have her own fragrance unless it was under the P&G umbrella. Ellen is a beautiful person who spends her time being kind and helping others. SHE is a lady.
She is definitely a classy lady.

I agree that most of the items are just variations of items that are already sold on QVC. The bags that cinch at the top are a good example.
