Re: The Container Store X KonMari

@jackthebear : I have been busy declutter and reorganizing and have repurpose items to prevent from spending more money and especially for items that might not work in my closets and pantry. Plus everything is behind closed doors.

Do people really have that few clothes?  Where do they keep the rest of them?

@lolakimono

As one poster mentioned, it is better to keep eggs in their original carton.  When the # goes down, I simply cut their container down.

As for the wine bottles, they do not need to be kept on their sides.  This was rule when natural cork was used to seal the bottle: it needed to be kept moist to avoid shrinkage of the cork which would then let air in and spoil the wine.

By standingthe bottles upright, you can store either more bottles or other foodstuffs.

Re: The Container Store X KonMari

Most I like, a few no. Inside the fridge, eggs YES but the other containers make the shelves look neat and orderly but who really knows what's in them!!!!

I really like the wooden boxes with the (cloth) liners - they look like they may be bamboo.A few yrs ago I changed out the bathrm accessories in my bath to bamboo from chrome metal. Looks much better, has a warmer feel among the floor to ceiling aqua blue tiled walls. The color is Dresden Blue from the 1950s with matching tun, sink & toilet. Many may scoff at the sounds of this but I love it!
