If you live in earthquake country a good four poster bed is great. There was a story back when California had a big earthquake that a couple had been asleep in their four poster bed when the earthquake hit. It literally shook their house apart and the roof fell down and the only thing holding up the roof was their bed. Once the dust settled they crawled out and made it outside. They both believed that had it not been for the bed they'd have been crushed. If you live in earthquake country, having that extra bit of protection is probably a smart move.

I like some of them, but love #5 and #9, but then I love blue in my bedroom.  I don't have a canopy, but have navy, blue and white in my bedroom and bathroom.
