Have you ever shopped 'The Company Store'?  I purchased two rugs for dh's bathroom.  I needed something with out the rubber backing.  I had an awful time finding what I needed.

Thank you for mentioning The Company Store. We just had our bathroom remodeled and I needed a new bathmat without the rubber backing. 20% off through tonight plus 15% off and free shipping for my first order.

Lands End also has wonderful quality terry cloth tub mats.  They are significantly larger than any I have found in stores.  The Company Store ones are also nice.  We always use terry cloth mats beside the tubs/showers.

I would recommend Lands End also and they have a nice choice of colors.

Our cat has a nasty habit of peeing on our cloth bathmats in the master bath so we have a teak mat instead.

Why not a rug?

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

I asked myself the same thing. My answer to myself was that maybe they don't leave them lay there, just use for bathing/shower, then pick them up.

We used a rubber backed rug outside the tub or shower, an it stays down all the time (except for washing it of course!)
