Hotel lobby? I like it but couldn't live there. Too cold, uninviting.

Definitely an aesthete. A wealthy professional in NYC would be my guess. On the other hand, it could be a lovely nook in an upscale hotel or even the lobby of a spa.

Reminds me of a movie "Someone to Watch Over Me" where the wealthy woman ..old money...is living. Kind of looks like the vestibule of her apartment.

When my daughter saw the film as a child, she told me she was going to have a home just like it some day when she grew up and supported herself.

This person is rarely home. Instead, they go to the theater, phony fund raisers.....generally they just hob-knob.

They're more concerned about appearances than actual content (on a personal level). Their home has an enormous "closet/room" packed with designer everything.

They always do the fake double-cheek kiss. Yes they will smile at you, but don't turn your back.

And are they security cameras on the ceiling or fire extinguishers or a back up light system? I don't know what they are, but whatever....it's not something you would see in a home.
