I'm in the market for a new stack vacuum in the near future. So I thought I would ask if you would share your experiences, and what you love and don't love about yours.
We have a Dyson. It is heavy and clumsy to me, not to husband. But I do use it a lot. But I'm thinking maybe something better is out there that I don't know about!
We have wood floors and carpet, wood in the kitchen and where the trails are from the front door to many rooms. But some carpeted bedrooms as well. Tile in the bathrooms! So if you share thoughts it would be appreciated!

I use a Shark Rocket and find it does a good job and is easy to empty.

I second the Shark Rocket...now I don't have carpet. Hardwood and LVP and I vacuume those. Only area carpet by two entry doors. It picks up everything from the bare floors. I can't believe what goes in the container to empty.
edited to add mine is NOT cordless...

Is the Shark Rocket Cordless?
I have a Dyson. I don't like you have to hold down the on button. I did buy one of the trigger locks from Amazon to put on it so I don't have to hold it down. It keeps trying to come off while I vacuum. I would buy one they sell now you don't have to hold it down.

I love my Dyson, I bought the TSV that had two battery packs, and that really makes all the difference in the world.
if you have a lot of vacuuming to do you can just replace a battery pack and keep vacuuming.
I also bought the device from Amazon to hold the on switch down, and have never used it. There's a lot of reasons that you don't want it to stay on, the biggest is the battery runs out much faster, and also if something gets pulled up into the vacuum like the fringe on rugs you want to stop it instantly.
I might like to have a much lighter version like a stick, but I also would want to have two battery packs.

I have 2 of the Shark Rocket. It is cordless and weights 8 lbs making it nice for the stairs. The run time is only 20 minutes but if you need a longer run time the corded model would be better

Love our Dysons! We do have a second battery for it and I really love the new attachment caddy on the newest one. We have 4 sticks, one for each level of the house, it makes grabbing one when needed so easy.

I go through vacuum cleaners alot, my last purchase was in June, ordered this Shark on Amazon, it is so light weight and easy to manuever.and really picks up pet hairs. I prefer the cord vacuums.

I bought a "special" (under $100) from Amazon and it it amazing!
Lightweight but powerful! I was surprised at how well it picks up and cleans. Mine is cordless!
Love it for my kitchen and bathrooms. Will never be without one again!

I have GSD dogs and multiple Dysons. It's the only one that picks up their hair from any surface. A few years ago I "treated" myself to the cordless Dyson stick and love it. It is much lighter in weight and has some useful attachments. Works well for our home.
