Love this breakfast nook in a traditional house.  Like the way it incorporates pinks, but not in a cutesy way.  A room that would be great for tea time, too.

Re: TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST NOOK

It's ok but the chairs look too close to the window wall...it does not look comfortable to me.

I can already see the nicks in the window sill/ half wall.

My aunt had a breakfast nook that looked just like a corner booth in a "soda shop".

Beautiful. My eyes were instantly drawn to the elegant pink floor to ceiling drapes. I love pink and that may be the perfect shade, dusty and nudish. Like you said not at all cutsey.

Pretty furniture and flower arrangement and I love when people hang stained glass windows in their windows.....

The only thing I may change is the stripped rug.

Maybe something like one of these....I just want more pink!

Not a fan of the furniture or the pink!

Re: TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST NOOK

I agree with @GingerHead : that rug has to go. All of her suggestions are so much better.

I also agree that there's no room for those chairs against the window sill. How would the person sitting in the chair in the corner ever get out after crawling on the 1st chair to get in.

I guess anybody can call themselves a "decorator" online, but not allowing enough space for chairs at a table is such an obvious error.

I like except the drapes. Not a fan of that odd bland color.
