Suggestions for a Scented Candle?

I haven't burned scented candles in years, but I want one now for the entry way.  I need to get one quickly--local or fast delivery.  Cinnamon maybe?  Orange Citrus (Saw a Village candle one). Holiday scents?

I appreciate your good advice and experience here!  THANKS!  I have no idea what to consider!  Woman Embarassed

currently burning two three wick candles: in living room, Goose Creek brand bought at Walmart. Called Cider & Sweaters. Has a warm, apple cider scent. In the bedroom, a Harry Slatkin candle called Thankful- Ginger and Pumpkin scent. Both smell delicious and throw out a lot of fragrance.
Smells like a winter holiday in my home ☺️

I've tried about every brand of candle out there, and think the best scented IMO are the Cheerful Giver candles here on QVC. Not sure which ones are still in stock though.

Re: Suggestions for a Scented Candle?

I have both Slatkin and Goose Creek and think the Slatkin candles smell nicer to my nose.  I have seen Slatkin candles at Home Goods.  I purchased a DW Home candle at Home Goods and it smells pretty good.  The soy or soy blend candles usually make a point of labeling the candle as a soy candle.  Goose Creek are soy blend candles.  Yankee candles give me a headache.

In terms of what fragrance to buy, can't help you there.  My advice is to go to a store and start smelling candles to see what appeals to you.  Personally, I don't care for Christmas tree scents, other folks love them.  A cinnamon/cranberry scent would be a nice holiday scent but that's what appeals to me.

An estimated 700,000 people around the world, 400,000 of them children, have died so far due to the discontinuation of the USAID program.

@KKJ Thanks but the wait from QVC is too long.

I've had mixed result with Cheerful Giver, Bath & Body Works, and Slatkin candles.

My two favorite companies for consistently good candles are Aromatique and Root. They are often found at boutique gift stores.

If u need a candle in a hurry, then go to B+ B Works for the last day (Sunday) of their $9.95 Candle Holiday Special and smell the different scents.

I like the Sugared Cinnamon Apple scented candles from Yankee Candle, although some may think it's more suited as a fall scent rather than holiday.

If you have Amazon Prime, the 22 oz large jar candle is available, with delivery as soon as this Tuesday, 12/10.

I love Village Candle mulled cider and my local grocery store actually carries it. It’s often on sale, too.

I also really like Yankee Candle Home Sweet Home candle or wax melts as well as the Woodwick Elderberry Bourbon, but like others mentioned, personal preference varies.
