I love those pretty colors on the pillows and the inside of the bookcases but not the stripes!

I like the colors in this room, but I would tone down the stripes - Maybe black and white stripes on a pink chair since both sofas are white. Definitely needs different decor on the mantle. Love the pink color used here.

I actually have two striped chairs, but they are very narrow stripes with a creme background. Pink, blue, green narrow stripes. Nothing so in your face like these stripes.

I think I like it but only if there are more than one living areas.

Not crazy about the dark color of the back of the book shelves.

I'd like to see a bigger pic of the room before I can make a judgement about the stripes. Don't care for the prints on the pillows or what's on the mantel.

I don't care for bright colors in rooms, so the bright, saturated magenta is a color I'd never choose. Very subtle stripes can be enhancing to a room, but again, these stripes with their strong contrasts of bright magenta, white and dark, are too graphic and "insistent" for me visually.

I prefer off-colors, and 'calmer', softer contrasts and blends.
