Storing Mercury Glass

I went a little crazy with Valerie's mercury glass items. I have the globes, which I keep out all year and just move from place to place. But I also got some pumpkins. pedestals, and lamps. I plan to use most of them seasonally. I know you're supposed to keep them in the original packaging, but I CAN'T STAND all of those pieces of styrofoam that float everywhere and get on everything!

Does anyone have an alternative to storing these? TIA! Smile
