Never is a million years would I store wood like that---so many bugs ----it needs to be outside away from any wood structures so nothing gets in to eat your house!!

I agree it matches the room BUT I would be concerned about inviting unwanted "guests" into my home....

I remember a couple of years ago, my husband bought in a pile of wood logs, maybe 4 or 5 and low and behold I saw several centipedes crawling out of it. Right back to the garage it went.....lol........After I started screaming and spraying Raid.....

I like the look BUT what @Another new name Sue said is correct and would make that idea not smart and very impractical for firewood storage!
